Some silly videos of Carter

Walking with Dinosaurs

If you haven't heard about this, it was amazing. There was a show put on at the ESA where a company that does the BBC show "Prehistoric Planet" built these lifesize dinosaur puppets. They were as realistic as possible and controlled by humans and machines. It was amazing. The kids loved it. In fact Carter kept saying "Yup thats right, I knew that" to nearly everything they talked about. Here are some photos and a video. It was amazing. If it comes again...its a must see!

Caught up in it all...part 2

This was our Christmas. We had lost of fun with family and enjoying the holidays with them. The kids got what they wanted and we didnt have to spend a whole lot of money to do it.

Tis the season...

As Im sure it is for most, this is my favorite time of year. I love Christmas. I love everything about Christmas. This year, we are trying our hardest to not overspend and just get quality versus quantity. Last week Kurt brought home some Angel tree ornaments from his work. So we decided to go to the store and get the items on the list. As we were in the store looking at the simple items these precious little kids wanted for Christmas, I started to cry. I felt so blessed that my kids didnt have to ask for jammies, clothes, or shoes. These kids were asking for things I take for granted, things I dont consider "presents". It made me feel so grateful for all I have, for my family, for our home.

I know its a message we always hear this time of year, but we really need to remember why we truly have Christmas and the spirit we should carry with us throughout this season and into the year. Christmas is about our savior, his gift to us, and the love he has for us we should have for all man kind.

OKay, so this sounded like a talk...its not. I just felt the need to share.

Merry Christmas.
